Lucas Lofts were by far, the most professional. During their first visit, Joe and Sam spent a lengthy amount of time discussing options and giving us ideas that we hadn't thought about. Their quote came through on time and was clear; follow-up questions were answered within 24 hours and again the answers were clear. Joe and Sam offered everything we wanted - an organisation to be responsible for project managing everything from start to finish. Once we offered the contract, Joe kept in contact leading up to the start date. Once on site everyone involved (with the conversion) was great. At times we had many tradesman in our home, they were all polite, respectful and great with our 2 and 3 year old; we were happy to go abroad for a week leaving Joe and Sam with a key. Every aspect of the conversion was discussed daily; we were overly impressed that temporary walls were erected in the bedrooms impacted, keeping the dust and mess to a minimum. The overall finish is outstanding; all available space has been utilised, the storage we now have is far more than we expected. Everything feels light and airy, and it looks as though the conversion has always been there. The design was well thought out and executed to an incredibly high standard. Joe spent the most time here at the initial meeting measuring and discussing the possible end result. Joe's Conversion amount was very competitive and his Quotation very detailed..........a good start.
Once accepted, Joe kept in touch about the start date. He promised to turn the Conversion around in four weeks......AND DID!! He suffered a few late nights when bad weather was approaching and missed International Rugby on a Saturday when the Staircase was being installed.....and courteous enough to make sure that they weren't in the way at these times.
We have 5 children (hence the need for the Conversion!!) and Joe and Sam were polite and language was good!!
Snags were completed in a timely manner, sub-contractors handled well and extra's discussed before proceeding.
Having previously been through a House Renovation and an Extension, Joe & Sam's Conversion was the slickest!!!
Kids love their new rooms and Joe & Sam are welcome back for a cup of tea anytime!!!
