Tiled Gable End

We love working with the latest materials, like cladding – which is often used on gable ends/walls - but there’s also something very satisfying about using good ol' trusty tiles!

This newly tiled wall integrates perfectly with the original roof and over time it will weather to look like it’s always been there.

Another big question we often get asked, understandably… "Will we need to move out??

The answer…. No – not unless you want to!

During the first half of the project, where a majority of the structural work is carried out we gain access to the loft space from the scaffold and through roof to avoid disruption within the home’s interior. The second half of the project is usually where the roof access is covered up and the new staircase installed and access through the house is required.

Even though mess and disruption are very minimal, temporary carpet/ hard floor protectors are applied and any other precautions are made to ensure that your home is kept clean and protected through the entirety of the project.

Equally, we have also had customers' who prefer to be away from any disruption and plan time away from their home during the messy part. Either is fine with us, we will work with what suits each individual customer.
